As a part of the ever growing trend of being more service oriented and knowledgeable towards all types of products, I am off to Beer School with several of our staff. Hosted by Spinnaker's Brewpub and their Brewmaster, it should be a great experience. We will be focusing on all beer styles from around the world, from the different types of hops, to malting, flavouring and everything in between. It will be difficult, but it is REALLY hard work, let me tell you!
Keep an eye out for the ever changing selection of brews here at our Tuscany location, as new beers flow through. Arriving this week we have the new Twenty Pounder Double IPA from Driftwood Brewing, which promised to be fantastic, if you are an IPA fan that is. -Dave
Took a bottle home last night. Consistent with other Driftwood beers, it was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGood sharp, resinous hoppy bitterness up front that fades into a clean, rich finish. The 9% punch is completely kept in line and is integrated into the flavour excellently.
